Orioles trade Jhondaniel Medina to Pirates for Yamaico Navarro

The Baltimore Orioles have traded minor league right hander Jhondaniel Medina to the Pirates for Shortstop/Third Baseman Yamaico Navarro.
Medina, 19, had a record of 1 win and 3 losses with an ERA of 4.14 in 15.0 innings in Single-A this season.
Navarro, 25, hit .160/.232/.220 (8 for 50) with 1 home run and 4 RBI’s in 29 games with the Pirates.
To make room, the Orioles have designated Stuart Pomeranz for assignment. Pomeranz, 27, posted a ERA of 3.00 in 6.0 innings with the O’s last season.
