Orioles, McLouth agree to 1-year deal
- Updated: December 5, 2012
The Baltimore Orioles and free agent outfielder Nate McLouth have agreed to a 1-year $2MM deal plus $500K in bonuses, reports Ken Rosenthal of FOX Sports.
McLouth, 31, hit .241/.314/.380 with 7 homers and 20 RBI’s in 89 games with the Pittsburgh Pirates and Baltimore Orioles last season.
McLouth will most likely play in left fielder and be the leadoff man for the Orioles in 2013.
Also, the Baltimore Orioles are still looking for a first baseman. Nick Swisher could be a possible option for the O’s.
