Michael Young spent his first thirteen seasons with one club, the Texas Rangers. During his time with Texas, Young hit a .301/.347/.444 batting line with 177 home runs and 984 RBI’s in 1823 games.

The best season of his career came in 2005 with the Rangers, when he won the American League batting title with a batting average of .331, and was first in the majors in hits with 221.

Young helped the Rangers reach the World Series (’10-’11) and has also appeared in seven All-Star Games, taking the MLB All-Star Game MVP honors in 2006.

If he does end up retiring, he would have finished one heck of a career.
